SGIFF Film Club: Intimate Sessions to Explore New Perspectives & Discuss Films Coming this June!
MAY 23, 2022
SINGAPORE, MAY 23 2022 – The Singapore International Film Festival proudly presents the SGIFF FILM CLUB. With the aim to nurture deeper and more diverse appreciation of film culture through stories close to home, SGIFF Film Club is an initiative to offer an intimate and welcoming space for conversations about cinema for the casual cinema-goer to the film enthusiast.
In partnership with CRANE, at Robertson Quay, the new sessions are now available in June and will subsequently be targeted to run each month up to September to offer up diverse genres of films.
Available at $38 per ticket with a light meal, each session showcases a screening of rarely available independent films and encourages participatory discussions facilitated by the SGIFF team.
With the hosting of an ongoing public programme, SGIFF hopes to develop informed ways to engage with our audiences, evoke new curiosities and nurture a deeper appreciation of film in Singapore.
SGIFF Film Club – June Sessions will feature two local thrillers and to keep suspense, offer a Mystery screening for one to discover! All films have screened at past SGIFF festivals.
