The Singapore International Film Festival’s annual Silver Screen Ball is one of the most anticipated gala events in the social calendar. The event is attended by some of the world’s biggest film stars, filmmaking talent and regional arts patrons, all of whom help to raise funds for the festival.

The SGIFF is a non-profit IPC-registered charity committed to nurture and groom creative talents in the art of filmmaking.

Over the last two years, we had the honor of hosting over 200 filmmakers and special guests including Oscar winning actor, Over the last two years, we had the honour of hosting over 200 filmmakers and special guests including Oscar winning actor, Juliette Binoche, Zhang Zi Yi, Michelle Yeoh, Dev Patel, Director John Woo, football icon David Beckham, Sonia Sui, Josie Ho, Tong Dawei, Nastassja Kinski, Irfan Khan, Waheeda Rehman, Kelly Marie Tran and prominent filmmakers Terence Cheng, Brillante Mendoza, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Christopher Doyle, Tran Anh Hung, Anup Singh, Eric Khoo and cinema legends, Mohsen Makmalbaf.

This year, the Silver Screen Ball is also privileged to have Chef Colin Buchan, who has worked in serval Michelin-starred kitchens, including Marco Pierre White’s L’Escargot, and one-time private chef to David and Victoria Beckham, prepare a unique menu especially for the occasion.
The proceeds from the fundraiser support the SGIFF education and developmental programmes that include:

Southeast Asian Film Lab
Youth Jury & Critics Programme and writing initiatives
Masterclasses, Talks and Forums
Meet-the-filmmakers sessions
New Waves Programme

The SGIFF works in partnership with the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University and is supported by *SCAPE a non-profit organisation with its mission to support youth, talent and leadership development.

Priority for tables / seats will be offered to donors, sponsors, previous attendees and members of the SGIFFRIENDS.
All donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction.
