She first rose to local fame with her role as a trainee lawyer Wendy Lim in the critically acclaimed legal drama, The Pupil, which earned her the Best Actress Award at the 2010 Asian Television Awards. Since then, she’s won Mediacorp’s “Top 10 Most Popular Female Artiste” award for ten consecutive years and became the first Singaporean to receive the Asian Star Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards in 2016.

In recent years, she captivated audiences with standout roles in Missing and The Bridge, earning her the Best Actress title at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020.
