Welcome to the Singapore International Film Festival’s Press Centre.

Here, you’ll find press information for our 37th edition that will take place from 21 October to 1 November 2026, alongside bios, visual assets and press releases.

We welcome press accreditation for all forms of media (text, video, audio, photography) as well as marketing representatives and publicists of all films screening at the film festival.

Press accreditation is divided into two categories, and will begin from 17 September 2026:

1. Journalist
2. Event Media (Photographer/Technical Crew/Marketing Representative/Publicist)

Please note:

• ● Accredited Journalists will be eligible for the Media Pass. This enables you to book tickets for regular film screenings and “In Conversation With” sessions—subject to first-come-first-serve availability. You may also access our Festival Lounge and any Industry Days event by presenting your Media Pass.
• ● Accredited Event Media will be eligible for the Event Media Pass. This provides access only for the relevant film screening(s) you are covering.
• ● Seats for our Festival Opening, Festival Closing, Special Presentations, Silver Screen Awards, and Festival Closing are by invite only, while media interviews are accepted upon request.
• ● Only actively covering media will be considered for credentials. SGIFF reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation.

Applications will be reviewed within 5 working days on a rolling basis. You will be eligible to book tickets to screenings and events only after your application has been approved. We recommend you apply early for the Media Pass.

Founded in 1987, the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is the largest and longest-running film event in Singapore. As an illustrious cornerstone in the local arts calendar, the Festival is known for its dynamic programming and focus on groundbreaking Asian cinema for Singapore and the region.

Beyond its annual Festival programme, SGIFF is also dedicated to nurturing and championing local and regional talent through its industry-led SGIFF Pro platform. SGIFF Pro brings together the festival’s various industry initiatives under one umbrella to meet the evolving and complex demands of the film industry. It comprises five programmes: the SGIFF Industry Days conference, the Asian Producers Network, the Pitching Forum, the Tutorial, and the Media x Technology Showcase.

The SGIFF is organised by the Singapore International Film Festival Ltd, a non-profit organisation with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status.
