Staff/Contract Positions

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join our team at the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF). Job Scope:

Sponsorship & Partnerships

  • Work closely with the Festival Director to execute the Festival’s sponsorship and partnership strategy, driving towards annual fundraising targets.

Lounge Setup & Operations

  • Plan the Lounge layout and manage the full set-up and teardown, including décor, furniture, technical requirements, and wayfinding signage.

Networking & Industry Engagement

This hybrid role supports the production of our Festival Guide, website content, venue installations and photography logistics.   • Serve as the primary liaison with SGIFF’s ticketing platform, overseeing setup, venue and seating configurations, and ticket allocations across all screenings and events.

Job Scope:

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Collect, verify, and compile invoices from vendors and service providers, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Help route invoices through the approval pipeline and keep track of payment status, following up where needed.

Claims Processing & Financial Documentation

  • Process reimbursement claims from staff and volunteers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is properly organised and filed in line with internal standards.

Cash Handling & Vouchers

  • Administer and track the distribution of petty cash and cash vouchers during the festival period.
  • Maintain clear, detailed logs and assist with post-event reconciliation of expenditures.
    Policy Adherence & Compliance
  • Familiarise yourself with SGIFF’s internal policies on procurement, payment processes, and cash handling.
  • Ensure all financial tasks are carried out in line with internal controls and compliance requirements.

Administrative & Team Support

  • Assist the Executive Director and Head of Operations with budgeting tasks, payment schedules, and general financial administration.
  • Support the end-of-festival financial reconciliation and contribute to reporting and close-out processes.

Skills Required:

  • Some experience or coursework in accounting, finance administration, or a related field — internship experience is welcome.

The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in the planning, coordination, and delivery of sponsorship engagements for the festival. This role offers hands-on exposure to sponsor/ donor management, event hospitality, and partnership operations within a dynamic arts and cultural environment. The intern will work closely with internal teams to ensure sponsors receive a professional, timely, and well-coordinated experience across communications, benefit fulfilment, and festival activities, while upholding confidentiality and organisational standards.

Job Scope

Sponsor Engagement & Communications

  • Assist in drafting and sending email updates to sponsors regarding festival developments, exclusive events, and sponsor entitlements.
  • Support timely responses to sponsor enquiries, escalating issues where necessary to ensure professional follow-up and resolution.

Sponsor Benefit Fulfilment & Coordination

  • Assist with the organisation and distribution of sponsor passes, hospitality invitations, merchandise, and sponsorship collaterals.
  • Track sponsor benefit fulfilment, including collection and delivery, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

Donor Engagement & Communication

  • Support the drafting and sending of email communications to donors on festival updates, exclusive events, and donor entitlements

We are looking for a Content Creator Intern to join our team and support the festival’s social media presence for SGIFF 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in content production, live event coverage, and digital storytelling within a fast-paced festival environment.

You will work closely with the Marketing team to conceptualise, produce and publish engaging content across SGIFF’s social media platforms. You will also be making a big impact in terms of the festival’s publicity within a short period of time.

Job Scope:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualise and produce short-form video content (Instagram Reels, stories, carousels).
  • Assist in basic photo and video editing for social media.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments, red carpet highlights, filmmaker Q&As, and audience reactions.
  • Support live updates during screenings, talks, and special events.
  • Conduct quick interviews with guests, filmmakers, and attendees (when required).
  • Support the team in maintaining brand consistency across all visual assets.

As an Event Management Intern, you’ll be at the heart of the action during the Singapore International Film Festival. Working closely with the SGIFF team and Guest Services, you’ll help bring screenings, talks, panels, receptions, and guest-facing events to life—ensuring every filmmaker, VIP, and audience member enjoys a seamless festival experience.

This role is ideal for someone who loves film, arts, and live events, and wants hands-on exposure to how a major international festival operates behind the scenes.

Guest Services Support

  • Welcome and assist filmmakers, VIPs, jurors, and invited guests throughout the festival.
  • Help prepare guest welcome packs, accreditation badges, and itineraries.
  • Support the hospitality desk or festival lounge by answering queries and resolving logistical needs.
  • Coordinate with transport and technical teams to support guest movements.

Event & Operations Support
