A young forest cat embarks on a courageous journey to find her mother, joined by new friends also searching for lost family.
Animals have been disappearing from the forest, kidnapped by the human—a giant monster who forces them to join his circus. Years after witnessing her mother’s abduction by the human’s guard dogs, Kona, a young cat, gathers the courage to search for her.
Traversing woodland and glaciers, venturing all the way out to sea, Kona embarks on a transformative journey accompanied by Colin, a puppy abandoned by the guard dogs due to his disability, and Bernard, a plucky big bear who repeatedly escapes from the circus. Chased by the guard dogs and faced with the challenge of navigating unfamiliar environments, they bond over their shared hope of reuniting with lost family.
In this uplifting adventure, friendship fosters the strength to stand together and put an end to terror. Filled with wonder and heart, Brave Cat is a richly textured work of animation that tells an empathetic story about loss and forgiveness, reflecting imaginatively upon the universal theme of human rights.
