Join the conversation with acclaimed Singaporean actor and producer Chin Han, known for his film roles in The Dark Knight (2008), Contagion (2011) and Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), among many others. He currently plays the sorcerer Shang Tsung in Warner Bros.’ Mortal Kombat franchise and is one of the leads in the upcoming season of the Netflix series Avatar: The Last Airbender (2026).

Affectionately known as Singapore’s biggest Hollywood export, with a career spanning over two decades across Asia and US, Chin Han has been named one of CNNgo’s 25 Greatest Asian Actors of All Time and was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in 2018.
