Sponsor the Singapore International Film Festival

The Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) is the largest and longest-running film event in Singapore. Over the decades, it has grown to become an iconic date in the Singapore arts calendar.

With its focus on groundbreaking Asian cinema, this prestigious event is known for its dynamic programming and commitment to the development of a vibrant local film culture. Always at the forefront of independent filmmaking, SGIFF continues to be a platform for both established and aspiring filmmakers to showcase their films to an audience of local and international film buffs.

Each partnership is unique and we cater to each individual organisation. Sponsors of SGIFF can look forward to:

  • Being aligned with an organisation with a long history of promoting cinematic excellence and championing local and regional talent
  • Demonstrating social responsibility through supporting the arts and championing the next generation of creators and audiences
  • Creative ways of corporate hosting
  • Using film as a medium to illustrate and highlight business goals and themes

Support the SGIFF Film Academy

Film is a great educational tool; teaching empathy and cultivating creativity.

This in turn, supports cinema in Singapore by nurturing an appreciation for Singapore films and cultivating support for our own cinema.

Film Immersion Programme

Hundreds of students have benefitted from the enriching sessions, which cultivate media literacy, appreciation of the film medium and the creative process.

Southeast Asian Film Lab

A nurturing and collaborative mentorship programme for first-time feature filmmakers. Film Lab projects have gone on to thrive in other prestigious workshops and markets.

Asian Producers Network

A platform for further dialogue and opportunities for collaboration amongst producers from the region to share their wealth of knowledge and ideas with one another.

Youth Critics Programme

New generations of film writers receive editorial guidance from industry experts and work as a team to produce a post-event publication for the festival by the end of the course.

You can be a part of this transformative learning journey by sponsoring a film immersion programme for an educational institute.

Support the SGIFF Silver Screen Awards

The Silver Screen Awards is also a cornerstone of the Festival. It is the first international competition with a category dedicated to Asian cinema and aims to draw attention to filmmaking talents across Asia, and especially Southeast Asia. Today, many nominees and awardees have established themselves as some of the region’s most prominent filmmakers.

“[SGIFF is] important because we need to encourage young directors and producers… to give them a chance to share their ideas.”
