Apply for the Cinephile Pass from 1 Nov
The Cinephile Pass lets you enjoy unlimited film screenings* and cover the festival for any platform of your choice — including but not limited to traditional media platforms as well as digital platforms such as podcasts, Substack, YouTube, TikTok — all while maintaining full editorial freedom.
This new initiative aims to spark lively film criticism and media buzz around the festival, encouraging active engagement and contribution from our community. It also aims to embrace a more democratic approach to film criticism, broadening the definition of what it can mean in today’s social media-driven landscape.

*The Cinephile Pass is applicable for regular-priced screenings only, and does not include Festival Opening, Special Presentations and Opening Acts.
Who Should Apply
Our Cinephile Pass is open to anyone engaged in content creation and/or film criticism. Whether you’ve mastered the art of the succinct Letterboxd review or are already regularly pitching written reviews to film magazines, we welcome you to apply.
The call for entry is open from 1 November to 13 November 2024.
- Applicants must be based in Singapore to attend the festival in person. There will not be any online component.
- We will accept your donation only upon successful application for the Cinephile Pass.
- A maximum of 50 Cinephile Passes will be available. Apply early to ensure availability.
- All applications will be notified by 15 November 2024.
- Upon successful application, all film reviews must be submitted by 31 December 2024.
- Please submit at least 3 film reviews.
