Though 15 years have passed since the disappearance of actress Esmeralda Stuart, detective Hermes Papauran is still obsessed with the case. He roams the lake, gradually losing his sanity without uncovering the truth. Finally, he witnesses the dark evil of people amidst the town’s misery.
In this damned world, feminism, global warming, drug wars and dictatorship are strongly interconnected, while anyone can be a criminal. These seemingly disparate problems may share the same root, and the pursuit of essential truths is no different from digging up victims’ bodies buried in the mud.
